Parmes Logistics Group is a North American parcel and freight shipping company serving individuals and small businesses alike, with a focus on transparency and efficiency in the evolving e-commerce landscape.
Developed as an independent project for a DES 594 course at the University of Louisville, the brand was informed by research into the rapidly growing shipping industry—driven by platforms like Amazon, SHEIN, and TEMU—which connects digital commerce to physical delivery.
The name “Parmes” combines “parcel” and Hermes, the Greek messenger god. This concept is visualized through a winged dog logomark that symbolizes the brand’s core values: security, flexibility, and integrity—key expectations for modern shipping services.
The design system draws from minimalism and Swiss design principles, using open space, structured layouts, and clear iconography to create a clean, adaptable identity that works seamlessly across digital and print platforms.
